California Driver Education Program
California state requirements for licensing, for those under 18 years of age, are two courses. The first course is driver education. This is a 30 classroom hour course. At the end of this you will receive a certificate of completion. The next step is obtaining your permit. Once you have your permit you are required to take and complete driver training. This is a six hour course conducted in three two hour sessions. This can be scheduled at your convenience.
Driver training is a required course for anyone under the age of 18 who desires a driver license in the State of California. This course is conducted in three two hour lessons. We can pick you up at home, school, or work. We also offer driver training for adult learners as well. There are no state minimum requirements. However, as with any learning driver the recommended amount of practice is a minimum of 50 hours of driving time.
